Horsepower AI is a one person consulting practice operating from Saskatchewan, Canada, and working with clients across North America. Questions about anything on this page go to hello@horsepowerai.ca and I answer them myself.
What I collect
If you fill in the scorecard. Your first name, your email address, your six answers, and the leak those answers point to. That is the whole list. I use it to write and send the read you asked for, and to follow up once if it seems useful. Nothing else.
If you book a call. The booking runs through Cal.com, which collects your name, email and the time you picked so the meeting can exist. Their privacy terms apply to that step as well as mine.
If you email me. Whatever you put in the email. It sits in my inbox like any other message.
If you just visit. Standard technical information that any web server sees, plus the advertising and analytics tools described below.
Tracking, said plainly
This site runs the Meta pixel. It is a small piece of code from Meta, the company that owns Facebook and Instagram. It tells me how many people arrived from an ad, how many started the scorecard, and how many finished it. It also lets Meta show my ads to people who visited without booking. That means Meta receives information about your visit, including your IP address and which pages and steps you reached, and Meta uses that under its own terms.
If you would rather not be part of that, you can turn off ad personalisation in your Facebook or Instagram settings, use your browser's tracking protection, or block the pixel with an extension. The site works normally either way, and nothing on it requires you to accept tracking to read it or to use the scorecard.
The fonts on this site load from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers see the request. That is the only other outside service loaded on the page.
Where your information goes
Scorecard submissions go to Formspark, a form handling service, and then to my email. Booking goes to Cal.com. Advertising measurement goes to Meta. The site itself is hosted by Vercel, and the domain and email forwarding run through GoDaddy and ImprovMX. Some of these companies are outside Canada, which means your information may be stored or processed in another country, including the United States, and may be subject to the laws of that country.
I do not sell your information. I do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to a data broker. I do not add you to a list you did not ask to be on.
How long I keep it
Scorecard submissions and emails stay in my records while they are useful and get deleted when they are not. If you ask me to delete yours, I delete it and tell you it is done.
Client work
If we work together, that is a different situation and a bigger responsibility. Any system I build for you lives in accounts registered to your business, paid for by you. I use business tier tools, which means the vendors do not train their models on your content. Anything that would reach one of your customers waits for a person to approve it. If we part ways, nothing shuts off and nothing follows me out the door. Where a written agreement covers our work, that agreement governs, not this page.
Your rights
Canadian privacy law gives you the right to ask what personal information I hold about you, to ask for a copy, to have mistakes corrected, and to withdraw consent. If you are somewhere with additional rights, such as Quebec, the European Union, or a United States state with its own privacy law, you can exercise those too and I will not make you argue about it.
To see, correct or delete anything I hold about you, email hello@horsepowerai.ca. I aim to answer within a few days and no later than thirty. There is no form and no fee.
If you give me your email through the scorecard, you are asking me for one specific thing and I will send you that thing. Every message I send includes a way to stop hearing from me, and telling me to stop is enough on its own. Canadian anti spam law requires that and I would do it anyway.
Children
This is a service sold to businesses. It is not intended for anyone under eighteen and I do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it. If it changes in a way that affects information you already gave me, I will tell you directly.
One honest note
I wrote this page myself in plain language instead of buying a template full of clauses neither of us would read. It is accurate about what this site actually does. It is not legal advice, and it is not a substitute for a lawyer reviewing your own situation.
